This program is for children 6 to 8 years old, who are not quite ready to
master the skills of drawing their world dimensionally. We explore both drawing
and painting in this class, alternating between drawing one week and painting
the next.

The drawing portion will focus on the use of the basic 2 dimensional shapes
to draw other objects. We learn about foundation drawing and artistic license, to
begin developing good drawing habits.

In the painting portion, we explore colour using acrylics on canvas, to further
enhance the art experience and develop good painting skills.

Exploring Art lets your child be creative while developing important motor skills
and creative use of colour. The structure allows for a variety of projects, to keep
it interesting and enjoyable. It's a popular program that the kids just keep coming
back for!

All children's programs run for 6 weeks.
Exploring art classes are 1 hour.
